Health and Social Care (Northern Ireland)

Health and Social Care (HSC) is the publicly funded healthcare system in Northern Ireland. The HSC grew out of the Health Services Act (Northern Ireland) 1948, which provided for a comprehensive health service similar to that introduced in England, Scotland and Wales the same year.
