Healthy Forests Initiative

The Healthy Forests Initiative (HFI), officially the Healthy Forests Restoration Act of 2003 (Pub. L. 108–148 (text) (PDF)), is a law proposed by President George W. Bush following the forest fires of 2002 which was devastatingly widespread.
