Heaven in Judaism

In Jewish cosmology, Shamayim (Hebrew: שָׁמַיִם‎ šāmayīm, "heavens") is the dwelling place of God and other heavenly beings according to the Hebrew Bible. It is one of three components of the biblical cosmology.
