Heterodoxy

In religion, heterodoxy (from Ancient Greek: héteros, 'other, another, different' + dóxa, 'popular belief') means "any opinions or doctrines at variance with an official or orthodox position". Heterodoxy is also an ecclesiastical jargon term, defined in various ways by different religions and churches.
