History of cross-strait relations

The history of cross-strait relations introduces the historical changes in the relationship between China and Taiwan. Suspected records of Taiwan in the history of China date back to the earliest times, when the legendary region of "Yizhou" was mentioned in the "Three Kingdoms", or Liuqiu in the "Book of Sui".
