History of bus transport in Hong Kong

The history of bus transport in Hong Kong began with the introduction of the first bus routes in Hong Kong in the 1920s. Bus services were officially franchised in 1933, with government-granted monopolies to Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) and China Motor Bus (CMB).
