History of the Jews in Kyrgyzstan

The history of the Jews in Kyrgyzstan is linked directly to the history of the Bukharan Jews of Uzbekistan. Until the 20th century, most Jews living in the Kyrgyz areas were members of the Bukharian Jewish community.
