Homotopy hypothesis

In category theory, a branch of mathematics, Grothendieck's homotopy hypothesis states, homotopy-theoretically speaking, that the ∞-groupoids are spaces. One version of the hypothesis was claimed to be proved in the 1991 paper by Kapranov and Voevodsky.
