Human trafficking in the United States

Human trafficking is defined by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime as the recruiting, transportation, transfer and harboring of individuals, by means of threatening or use of force or also other forms of coercion, of abduction, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability. Those trafficked include everyone from young children, teenagers, men, and women; victims can be domestic citizens or foreign nationals.
