Hungary–Yugoslavia relations (Hungarian: Magyarország-Jugoszlávia kapcsolatok; Serbo-Croatian: Odnosi Mađarske i Jugoslavije, Односи Мађарске и Југославије; Slovene: Madžarsko-jugoslovanski odnosi; Macedonian: Односите меѓу Унгарија и Југославија) were historical foreign relations between neighboring Hungary (historically Kingdom of Hungary 1920-1946 and the Hungarian People's Republic 1949–1989) and now broken up Yugoslavia (Kingdom of Yugoslavia 1918-1941 and Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia 1945–1992). == History == === Interwar period === At the time of creation of Yugoslavia during the Paris Peace Conference following the conclusion of World War I, the Entente Powers signed the Treaty of Trianon with Hungary after the breakup of Austria-Hungary.
