Hyper-converged infrastructure

Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) is a software-defined IT infrastructure that virtualizes all elements of the conventional "hardware-defined" systems. HCI includes, at a minimum, virtualized computing (a hypervisor), software-defined storage, and virtualized networking (software-defined networking).
