Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest

Iceland has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 37 times since its debut in 1986. It has missed only three contests since then, in 1998 and 2002, when prevented from competing due to finishing outside qualification places the preceding years, and the 2026 contest due to the inclusion of Israel in the context of the Gaza war.
