Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Venezuela

The International Independent Fact-Finding Mission on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is an observation body established in 2019 to study the human rights situation under the Bolivarian Revolution. == Background == Since the establishment of Chavismo as the dominant political movement in Venezuela in the late 1990s, community-based social groups known as "colectivos" emerged in support of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the governments of former president Hugo Chávez, and currently Nicolás Maduro.
