Indigenous peoples of the Northeastern Woodlands

Indigenous peoples of the Northeastern Woodlands include Native Americans and First Nations residing in or originating from a cultural area encompassing what is now the Northeastern United States, the Midwestern United States, parts of the Southern United States, and southeastern Canada. It is part of a broader grouping known as the Eastern Woodlands.
