Interim Batasang Pambansa

The Interim Batasang Pambansa (IBP; English: Interim National Assembly) was the national legislature of the Philippines from June 12, 1978, until June 5, 1984. Established under the 1973 Constitution, it served as a transitional legislative body during the country's shift from a presidential to a parliamentary-oriented system of government.
