Negotiations leading to the Iran nuclear deal
The negotiations leading to the Iran nuclear deal were talks between Iran and the P5+1 that resulted in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (Persian: برنامه جامع اقدام مشترک), signed in Vienna on 14 July 2015. The P5+1 consisted of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council: China, France, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States, plus Germany and the European Union.
