Iran and the Russo-Ukrainian war (2022–present)

Iran has supported Russia both diplomatically and militarily since the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war in February 2022. It has voted against United Nations resolutions condemning Russia and has regularly delivered loitering munitions, chiefly the Shahed 131 and Shahed 136, to the Russian military.
