On August 26, 2018, a mass shooting occurred during a Madden NFL 19 qualifying tournament at the GLHF (Good Luck Have Fun) Game Bar in the Jacksonville Landing marketplace in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. The attack was carried out by 24-year-old professional gamer David Katz of Baltimore, Maryland, after he was eliminated from the competition.
