Jameis Lanaed Winston ( JAY-miss; born January 6, 1994) is an American professional football quarterback for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Winston played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, becoming the youngest player to win the Heisman Trophy and leading his team to victory in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game during his freshman year in 2013.
