Jay Robert Inslee ( INZ-lee; born February 9, 1951) is an American politician and attorney who served as the 23rd governor of Washington from 2013 to 2025. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995 and from 1999 to 2012.
