Jayachandra

Jaya-chandra (IAST: Jayacandra) (Nagari: जयचन्द्र): died 1194) colloquially known as the Jaichand, was the last powerful and great king of the Gahadavala dynasty in Northern India from 21 June 1170 until his death in 1194. He ruled the Antarvedi country in the Gangetic plains, including the important cities of Kannauj and Varanasi.
