Jewish Christianity

Jewish Christianity is the historical foundation of Early Christianity, which later developed into Nicene Christianity (which comprises the Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Church of the East traditions) and other Christian denominations. Jewish Christians were the followers of a Jewish religious sect that was viewed by the Sanhedrin as being heretical, which emerged in Roman Judea during the late Second Temple period, under the Herodian tetrarchy (1st century AD).
