John Robinson (American football)

John Alexander Robinson (July 25, 1935 – November 11, 2024) was an American football coach best known for his two stints as head coach of the USC Trojans and for his tenure as the head coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL) from 1983 to 1991. Robinson's USC teams won four Rose Bowls and captured a share of the national championship in the 1978 season.
