Joseph Epstein (writer)

Myron Joseph Epstein (born January 9, 1937) is an American writer who was the editor of the magazine The American Scholar from 1975 to 1997. He has published books on subjects such as Ambition, Snobbery, Envy, Friendship, and Charm, as well as collections of his essays and stories, many of which previously appeared in various publications.
