Julius Hoffman

Julius Jennings Hoffman (July 7, 1895 – July 1, 1983) was an American attorney and jurist who served as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is most well known for presiding over the Chicago Seven trial, during which he showed bias against the defense, including by ordering Bobby Seale to be bound and gagged.
