Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (born 17 February 1954), commonly known by his initials KCR, is an Indian politician currently representing the Gajwel Assembly constituency and who is first Chief Minister of Telangana who served for almost ten years. He is the founding leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, a state party in India.
