The Kale (also spelled Kalé /kɔ.leɪ/, or Welsh Gypsies; Welsh Romani: Kā̊lē; Welsh: Sipsiwn Cymreig) are a Romani subgroup predominantly found in Wales, particularly in the Welsh-speaking areas. Romani people have been present in Wales since the 16th century.
