Kampuchea Revolutionary Army

The Revolutionary Army of Kampuchea (Khmer: កងទ័ពរំដោះកម្ពុជា, RAK) was the official name of the armed forces of Democratic Kampuchea (DK), the state ruled by Angkar following the fall of Phnom Penh to the Khmer Rouge at the end of the Cambodian Civil War on 17 April 1975. While the RAK functioned as the national army from 1975 onwards, the military was heavily equipped by the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
