Karimabad, Gilgit-Baltistan
Karimabad (كريم آباد), formerly known as Baltit, is the capital of the Hunza District in Pakistan-administered Gilgit-Baltistan in the disputed Kashmir region. == Etymology == Karimabad was named in honour of Karim Aga Khan, the late spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Nizari community.
