The Karnats of Mithila or Karnata dynasty (Karṇāṭa) was a dynasty established in 1097 CE by Nanyadeva. The dynasty controlled the areas we today know as Tirhut or Mithila in Bihar, India and adjoining parts of South Eastern Nepal.
