Kibbutz

A kibbutz (Hebrew: קִבּוּץ / קיבוץ, lit. 'gathering, clustering'; pl.: kibbutzim קִבּוּצִים / קיבוצים, in English also kibbutzes) is an intentional community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. The first kibbutz, established in 1910, was Degania.
