Kingdom of Germany

In medieval history, the Kingdom of Germany (Latin: Regnum Teutonicum) was a major part of the Holy Roman Empire. It began as the eastern Frankish kingdom formed by the Treaty of Verdun in 843, and it encompassed the core territory from which the Ottonian Empire evolved.
