Klaus Ferdinand Hasselmann (German pronunciation: [klaʊs ˈhasl̩man] ; born 25 October 1931) is a German oceanographer and climate modeller. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Hamburg and former Director of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology.
