Koryo-saram
Koryo-saram (Russian: Корё сарам [kɐˈrʲɵ ˈsarəm]; Koryo-mar: 고려사람, romanized: Koryŏ-saram, IPA: [koˈrʲɔˑ ˈsɐˑrɐm]) or Koryoin (Корё ин; 고려인, Koryŏ-in) are ethnic Koreans of the mainland former Soviet Union who descend from Koreans who lived in the Russian Far East. Koreans began settling in the Russian Far East in the late 19th century.
