Eastern Borderlands (Polish: Kresy Wschodnie), often simply Borderlands (Polish: Kresy, Polish pronunciation: [ˈkrɛsɨ]) was a historical region of the eastern part of the Second Polish Republic. The term was coined during the interwar period (1918–1939).
