Kuyūthāʾ (Arabic: كيوثاء), more rarely Kiyūbān (کیوبان) or Kibūthān (کبوثان), is the cosmic bull in medieval Muslim cosmography. It is said to carry on its back the angel who shoulders the world, and the rock platform upon which this angel stands.
