Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, (22 November 1940 – 17 November 2018) was a decorated General Officer in the Indian Army. He is known for his bravery and leadership in the Battle of Longewala during the India–Pakistan war of 1971, for which he was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, the second highest Indian military decoration, by the Indian government.
