LGBTQ rights in West Virginia
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people in the U.S. state of West Virginia face legal challenges not faced by non-LGBTQ persons. Same-sex sexual activity has been legal since 1976, and same-sex marriage has been recognized since October 2014.
