La Mulâtresse Solitude (circa 1772 – 1802) was a historical figure and heroine in the fight against slavery on French Guadeloupe. She was imprisoned and executed by French forces after their suppression of the 1802 insurrection against the reinstatement of slavery in Guadeloupe, which culminated in mass suicide in the battle of Matouba.
