The Legislature of Ontario (often colloquially referred to as the Provincial Parliament of Ontario) is the legislature of the Province of Ontario, the most populous subnational jurisdiction within Canada. The current legislature was established in 1867 upon the creation of Ontario as one of the first four provinces at Canadian Confederation.
