Liquidation of the insurgent hospitals in Warsaw's Old Town

The liquidation of the insurgent hospitals in Warsaw's Old Town was the massacre of wounded Warsaw insurgents taken prisoner in the Old Town by the units of Heinz Reinefarth and Oskar Dirlewanger. The massacre took place on 2 September 1944, and its victims included nearly 1,000 wounded prisoners and several thousand civilians (altogether up to 7,000 people).
