List of Hong Kong national security cases

The Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong National Security Law, National Security Law, or NSL) came into effect on 30 June 2020 after the imposition by the National People's Congress of China. The Safeguarding National Security Ordinance, which took effect on 23 March 2024, was enacted to implement Article 23 of Hong Kong's constitution, the Basic Law.
