The Pala dynasty (Sanskrit: पाल राजवंश IAST: Pāla rājavaṅśa) was a Medieval Indian Buddhist Dynasty founded by Gopala I that ruled the Pala Empire of Bengal which lasted from 750 CE to 1161 CE.
