List of United States Navy aircraft wings

This is a list of United States Navy aircraft wings. The U.S. Navy first used the term "wing" in 1935 when patrol squadrons operating together in the same geographical area were for the first time loosely designated patrol wings, however these "wings" lacked any formal organization or headquarters staff.
