List of certified albums in South Korea

The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) was established in 2008, with the purpose of promoting the professional interests of its members, as well as being involved in anti-piracy. It introduced the first official South Korean music charts in 2010, and implemented record certifications in April 2018—only releases subsequent to January 1, 2018 would be eligible once they fulfilled the required thresholds.
