List of heads of state of Romania

This is a list consisting of all the heads of state of modern and contemporary Romania, since the establishment of the United Principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia in 1859 to the present day. The incumbent head of state, as of 7 July 2026, is President Nicușor Dan.
