List of Indigenous territories (Brazil)

There are 724 Indigenous territories (Portuguese: Terra Indígena [ˈtɛʁɐ ĩˈdʒiʒẽnɐ], TI) in Brazil, comprising about 13% of the country's land area. According to Article 231 of the Brazilian Constitution, the Indigenous peoples of Brazil possess an inalienable right to lands they "traditionally occupy" and are automatically conferred permanent possession of these lands.
