Ljubka Šorli

Ljubka Šorli (February 19, 1910 – April 30, 1993) was a Slovenian writer, poet and teacher. She is known for her resistance against fascism, her poetic evocations of the Slovene Littoral landscape, her patriotic and religious verses, and her love poetry for her husband Lojze Bratuž, who was killed by the fascists.
