Los Angeles County Department of Health Services

Health Services Los Angeles County, officially the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, operates the public hospitals and clinics in Los Angeles County and is the United States' second largest municipal health system, after NYC Health + Hospitals. The department (sometimes abbreviated as DHS or LADHS) operates an extensive healthcare network made up of Los Angeles General Medical Center, Harbor–UCLA Medical Center, Olive View–UCLA Medical Center, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, and numerous outpatient clinics, including two ambulatory care centers and 16 local health clinics.
