Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play

The Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play is an award presented annually at the Lucille Lortel Awards to honor excellence in playwriting for an Off-Broadway play production since 1987. Four playwrights have won the award twice--Brian Friel, Moisés Kaufman,Martin McDonagh and Horton Foote.
